djSpade1
DJ/Producer/Film Since
the age of 10, djSpade1 has learned every aspect of music.
In middle school he learned to play the saxophone, and while
in high school he learned how to motivate crowds with a pair
of 1200’s and a microphone. Growing up in a military family,
Spade1 started his career as a DJ in various project
basements in Berlin, Germany. In 1992, he returned to the
United States, and he enrolled in Virginia State University
where he immediately immersed himself into the local music
scene. While in college he swept the area nightclubs, house
parties, and took over college scenes throughout the
Mid-Atlantic. Performing alongside names such as Biz Markie,
DJ Flexx, Ron G, DJ Kool and DJ SNS, Spade1 proved that he
could rock just as hard as any big named DJ. Soon after,
producing music became inevitable as he worked with many
unsigned artists on mix-tapes while working to form his own
independent label. Spade1 has been creating his own brand
and sound for the past 20 years and continues to expand his
scope. Recently he has started to branch into video,
commercials, movies, and video games. He’s currently working
on several music and film projects including his self
produced solo album, Uncle Spade: Life of a DJ. |

of a producer and MC. Not only does Cunny
produce/perform/ and write all his own music, he is also
