An EGOTIST IMPOSTER is someone with an exaggerated sense of self-importance. This is a person who is preoccupied with their own interests.

Comedian George Carlin once quipped, "One nice thing about egotists: They don’t talk about other people." He’s right because egotists – or people with a dominant EGOTIST IMPOSTER – are usually too busy talking about themselves. They’re full of bombast, which is a front: They might act like they’re Masters of the Universe, but in reality, they’re more like the Wizard of Oz, quivering behind the curtain with pulleys and levers, filled with insecurities.

Paradoxically, deep down, people with dominant EGOTIST IMPOSTERS often have compromised self-esteem, even though they seem to brim with self-love and self-centeredness. When our egos are wounded during childhood, we develop defense mechanisms and emotional patterns that emerge as a dominant EGOTIST IMPOSTER within.

THE SUPERPOWER: Bold, charismatic, confident
